You’ve got no GPS.
No roadmap.
And zero sense of direction.
But there you are, driving that expensive car, on a road trip to where?
You haven’t decided.
You’re just going to drive and see where the road takes you.
Not necessarily a bad idea if you’re on vacation and don’t care how you’re going to use your time, or where you’re going to spend it.
But if you’ve got a destination in mind, and want to get there within a specified time, just driving to see where the road takes you is a dumb idea.
And regardless of how expensive your “wheels” might be, without a GPS, a map, or any sense of direction, you’re lost.
So, how are you “driving” your business?
If you’re a coach, freelancer, small business owner, or even a salesperson working in a larger organization, where are you actually going and how are you going to get there?
Like an expensive car, you might have a high-end business idea or product to help a lot of people and make you a lot of money.
But you’re not going to achieve those 2 objectives, or any others you have, without a roadmap.
And that’s where success planning fits in.
A success plan is a roadmap that connects your desired business outcomes to the solutions needed to achieve them.
And too many coaches, freelancers, small business owners, and salespeople do not have clear success plans.
And it’s one of the main reasons so many never achieve their desired business outcomes.
So, in my next post, watch for further insights into what YOU need to do to fire up your GPS so you can start getting that high-end business of yours to your desired destination.
And I’d love to hear your thoughts on this topic, too. So please drop a comment.
Peace and Love
